I started to write this blog in December 2016, just after I was tested positive for glandular fever. I’ve been suffering with chronic fatigue and been feeling generally low for months now, so I decided to create my own positive space on the internet to cheer me up. I want to fill it with creativity, happiness, inspiration and kindness.
At first, it felt like the end of the world to stop going to uni, move out of London and back into my family home. And although being so ill has been horrible, this involuntary pause in my life has actually been one of the best things to ever happen to me. I’ve been allowed the time to reflect on life and focus on the things that make me truly happy.
I’ve recently discovered a passion for cooking! I not only find it therapeutic, but I have learnt just how much food can affect your health! I cook for my mind, body and soul – that means eating lots of fruit/veg to get the nutrients I need for my recovery, but also listening to my body and treating myself to whatever I feel like eating.
I hope you like reading my blog as much as I enjoy creating it!
