About Lydia

Our only child at the time, Lydia was a kind, smart, and vibrant child who was always smiling and laughing. She said “hi” and “bye bye” to everything.  She loved her three cats, Louie, Franco, and Mia, and giving each of them treats.  She enjoyed going to The Little Gym, watching Toy Story and Finding Nemo, taking care of her dolls, playing with her kitchen, and going to the park.  She loved going to school to see her beloved teachers and friends, but also couldn’t contain her excitement when getting to see her Mommy and Daddy at the end of the day. She lived a life devoid of sadness, full of love, and with unlimited potential in front of her.

Lydia was almost two years old when she died unexpectedly on Christmas of 2022.  The autopsy later revealed that Lydia had a very rare congenital mesenteric defect that ultimately led her her untimely death.
